I’ll be sharing more news about the book during the next few weeks leading up to the release, so if you haven’t joined my newsletter yet, now is a great time!

Unlikely Adventures

To celebrate the impending release of The Librarian’s Ruse, I’m judging The Company’s summer short story contest!

The theme is “Unlikely Adventures” and it’s completely free to enter.

What do you get if you win? 

Bragging rights, a $100 Amazon gift card, and your short story will be published by The Pearl!

What are the rules? 

Your short story needs to be 1,500 words or less, and fit the theme.

What’s the deadline to enter?

The deadline to submit your story is 11:59pm EST on September 1, 2023.

Anything else?

Don’t stress… Have fun with this! Since the contest is free to enter, there’s no pressure. Take this as an opportunity to write a really cool story in whatever genre you’d like! With a theme like “unlikely adventures” the possibilities for what you could write are endless.
