A New Season
As summer ends and autumn approaches, I find myself more than ready to welcome this new, cooler season.
Fall is my favorite time of year, and I’m looking forward to seeing the leaves turn colors, and doing fun activities with my friends and family.
And with the change in seasons, comes plenty of changes in my own life—and some of them are really exciting!
Coming Soon
As I mentioned in my previous article, I’ve started a new series on worldbuilding, so that’s what the majority of my posts will be about during the month of October.
I’m also judging another short story contest for The Company! I’ll post more details in the weeks to come, but if you’re interested in submitting a story, you should check it out!
Celebrating Successes
A little over a week ago, I released the second book in the Adventures In Eldnaire trilogy, A Traitor’s Vow. It reached the #1 bestselling new release list on Amazon and currently has 18 reviews (you can buy the book or add your own review here)!
I’ve also finished the first draft of the third and final book in the trilogy, so I’ll be working on getting all my self-editing done this coming month.
Inspiring Collaborations
This week, I wrote an article called “It Takes A Village…to Write A Book” and Vella Karman featured it on her website! You can click here to check it out. And if you do, be sure to stick around and check out some of Vella’s other articles while you’re at it!
Arche Year
If you’re a writer who wants to write and publish a book, build a good website, and grow your social media presence—but you’re stuck on how to do it all, I definitely recommend that you check out The Company’s part time program, Arche Year.
As someone who’s been in the full-time program, and has seen how the part-time program operates, I know that the information is good, and that it actually works! (After all, I wouldn’t be writing this article right now if it didn’t…)
Upon graduating from the Arche Year program, you will have:
- A complete novel manuscript
- A properly registered, legal business entity in your state
- A professional author’s website
- A professional social media presence (and know how to use it!)
- A growing permission-based mailing list
- A comprehensive understanding of the publishing industry
- Enough marketing knowledge and practice to continue to build your audience and publish
And not only do you learn how to do all the things mentioned above (and more), but you’ll also have the opportunity to do it all in a group of like-minded fellow writers, and with the support of an already established author.
I’ll be leading one of the groups again this year, so I’d love to have you join me and other writers who are ready to take their writing to the next level!
