Join The Launch Team!
Today is the day! There are only a few weeks left until the release of An Ambassador’s Ploy, the third and final book in my Adventures in Eldnaire trilogy. And I am so excited to see this series complete and in print!
With the release on the horizon, I’d like to officially invite you to join the launch team for An Ambassador’s Ploy!
What Does it Take to Join a Launch Team?
Just like it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a community to make a book launch successful.
For those of you who were a part of the launch for The Librarian’s Ruse, A Traitor’s Vow, or any other author’s book, you’re probably already familiar with the ins and outs of how a launch team (or street team) operates.
But for those of you who have never been a part of a launch team, let me explain a bit about what exactly a launch team does.
Reviews VS Social Media
The most important thing when it comes to being a part of a launch team, is reading the book and leaving an honest review on Amazon, GoodReads, or anywhere else the book can be bought.
Reviews help readers know whether or not a particular book is right for them, so that’s why it’s so helpful to have plenty of reviews already posted the week of the book’s release.
Everything else (like posting to social media for the cover reveal or release day) is absolutely helpful and amazing, but not a mandatory requirement in order to join the team.
And if you don’t have social media and you aren’t sure if you can get a review in, but you still want to support the launch, another thing you can do that’s incredibly helpful, is simply telling the people around you about the book.

Behind-The-Scenes
Out of all the books I’ve published so far, An Ambassador’s Ploy was by far the most fun to write and edit. However, it started off a bit different from how I had originally planned.
If you’ve read A Traitor’s Vow, then you may have quite a few words to say about how I ended the story…
The thing is, it wasn’t supposed to end like that.
I accidentally sent my manuscript to my publisher without including the final chapter, and didn’t realize it until after it had gone through developmental editing. So imagine my surprise when my editor told me he thought that my ending was great.
That’s right. Due to a happy little accident, an entire chapter was cut from the end of A Traitor’s Vow, giving us its current ending.
So, what did I do with the actual ending?
After talking it over with my publisher, I decided to turn it into the beginning of An Ambassador’s Ploy. So let me know… Did you like how A Traitor’s Vow ended, or do you wish that it kept the original final chapter?
Before You Go…
I’m a little sad that the Adventures in Eldnaire trilogy is finally coming to an end, but I’m also really looking forward to releasing future projects and novels.
