Growing Up. Moving Out.
In the summer of 2021, I moved from my childhood home in Maryland, to my own apartment in Ohio. I was seventeen at the time and I had moved to Ohio to pursue my dreams of becoming a full-time writer and author.
I was living on my own for the first time, and completely overwhelmed!
Wasting Time
I had so much trouble balancing different projects, dates, and deadlines. I was overworked, tired, and exhausted all the time.
I felt like I could never rest or slow down, and even when I did, I felt as though I was just wasting time.
Time To Change!
But as the year went by, I learned that it doesn’t have to be that way.
You can use methods to manage your time so you can do more of the things you love, without ignoring all the things you need to do.
And that’s what this blog is all about!
About Me
The word “Unconventional” would be the best way to sum up my life so far. I was born in the Netherlands, to an American mother and Dutch father, but moved to America not long after, growing up in Southern Maryland.
I was homeschooled by my mother and experienced a lot of amazing stuff. I got to visit a real European castle, visit all sorts of museums, and go on road trips all around the USA. I also tried a lot of things out, from soccer, robotics, and ballet, to baking, choir and acting.
Flash forward to today, I’m nineteen years old and I’m currently in the process of answering God’s call on my life to write. I also own a jewelry business.
